Coco
Peat is the primary raw material used by Ornamental Valencia Export SL.
It is used to make its substrate, and it is being directly imported
from its own factories in India. The supply is stable and a strict
quality control is maintained in the entire production process.

The
company follows a specific process with appropriate equipments and
methodology to obtain different grades (products). This process gives
the substrate (coco peat) with adequate physical and chemical
characteristics according to the crop development.
The
process includes: Washing, Composting, Sieving and Grading. Eventually
it gives a guaranteed product free of salt, stable for a long period
(minimum of 3 years) and 14-15 litre of wet material for each kilogram
of dry material. |
The Formats of workable
-
Briquette of 0,65 kg, size 20 cm by 10 wide by 5 cm high. The yield of briquette is 9 litres (± 5 %).

5 Kg Bale: Size of 30 cm by 30 cm by 15 cm of high. The average yield in 5 kg bale is 70 litres (± 5 %).

Disc in Several sizes: 3 cm diameter (seedling purpose), 12 cm (2,5-3 L), 15 cm (4,5 L), and 18 cm (9 L).

Pellet for top soil (only fine material). |

Fine Coco Peat
This product is obtaining from sieving process all dust less than 2 mm.
It can be used in top soil, seedlings purpose and animal
bed.

Standard Coco Peat
The process of sieving the grain within 1-4 mm gives a standard
product. It is easy to pack in small containers (less than 5 litres).
It is excellent for vegetables and small fruits in open conditions. It
is good for mixing with other substrate to give stability and aeration
to the mix.

Coarse Coco Peat
Consists of a mix of 30 % short fibre and 70 % standard coco peat
enabling adequate aerations. It is well suited for cropping in
containers bigger than 5 litres. It is used as a mixer with other
substrate, growing horticulture, vegetables and small fruits in bags.

Mix Chip
This
product is a mix of standard coco peat, short fibre and chip. These
three raw materials interact among themselves bringing adequate balance
in aeration and water retention capacities. It supplies the required
nutrients to crops like Gerbera and Palms to take strong roots. It is
capable of colonising the chip.

Crush (Turbo Clean)
This product is an extra coarse material with 50 % short fibre and 50 %
grain (2-6 mm). It is well suited for big containers and to mix with
other substrate- It demands a lot of time for irrigations, but is very
resistant and permitted to crop in a recirculation system.

aeration and gases elimination for plants like Orchid and Anthorium.

Short Fibre
Short
fibre is a product with too much aeration, excellent for mixing with
substrate and for using in biological filter. The material can be
used for anti grass mattress, pot and for decorations.

Coco Peat Chip
The
product is obtained by cutting the coconut husk in pieces (between 6-15
mm). It is good for use in mixer for plant and it is capable to
colonize the chip. It could also be used for mulching.
